DESCRIPTION:Wine in the Wetlands is the signature\, annual fundraising event for Mitchell Lake Audubon Center. In 2018\, the cocktail event will take place at Magnolia Halle on the evening of Friday\, September 7. \n\nPhoto: Laurel Smyth\n\nThe center opens new eyes to nature and often provides the first opportunity many children have to experience the joys of the outdoors and to learn about the importance of caring for and protecting our natural heritage. The evening benefits Mitchell Lake’s education programs\, onsite restoration efforts\, and community conservation. \nJoin them is in celebrating National Geographic’s “Year of the Bird” by supporting environmental education and conservation.
