DESCRIPTION:Hillside Stewardship: Reducing Erosion and Building Soil\nJoin us as we learn from landowners\, Vick and Dorothy Williams\, and Restoration Ecologist\, Mollie Walton\, about a variety of methods for slowing and sinking water along hillsides to reduce erosion\, build soil\, mitigate floods\, enhance groundwater replenishment\, and improve habitat. \nDuring this hands-on field day\, participants will discuss effective structures that rely on rock\, Ashe juniper (cedar) wood\, and the contours of the land to build soil.
