DESCRIPTION:“The Twinkliest Town in Texas”\n\n\nCelebrate Lights Spectacular’s 31st Season \nHoliday lights will continue to glow in Johnson City – with a socially distanced tour of “The Twinkliest Town in Texas” -boasting over two million twinkling lights in our historic square off Main Street. \n\nFace Coverings and Social Distancing Required. \nBlanco County and Johnson City request that all guests are respectful of Covid-19 protocols both locally and by the State of Texas.  Gatherings of over 10 people will not be permitted. \nUnfortunately this year we are unable to host our annual Lighted Hooves & Wheels Parade and Opening Weekend festivities\, including fireworks.  \nSanta won’t be joining us this year.  He’s in quarantine at the North Pole.  But don’t worry\, the elves are immune to Covid-19 so they will be delivering your presents. \nLearn more here

DESCRIPTION:This holiday season\, deck the halls with science! The Science Mill will be open with expanded dates from December 17 to December 31 (closed Dec. 24 + 25 and Jan. 1). Come explore our 50+ interactive exhibits\, inside and outdoors\, including the newly updated Banana Piano and the return of MindBall—an exhibit powered by YOUR brainwaves! Meet the giant vinegaroon\, marbled crayfish and other new animals in the BioLab\, and find special pop-up experiences like the Sleigh Racer Challenge and our foot-controlled video game. Deck the Halls Pop-up Activities will run December 26- December 31. \nDon’t forget to stop and shop our Science Store for holiday gifts with a science twist—or shop online and we’ll ship anywhere in the U.S. All proceeds support the museum’s STEM programs for Texas youth. \nAfter the Mill closes\, enjoy a self-guided driving tour of Johnson City’s Lights Spectacular displays featuring 2 million twinkling holiday lights (Nov. 27 through January 3; 6pm-midnight). \nLearn more from The Science Mill here.
