SUMMARY:San Antonio - Grassroots Gathering for Water Advocates - Government Canyon
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, October 12th\, the Hill Country Alliance will convene grassroots water advocates from across the region for a day of strategizing\, learning\, and networking. This event will take place in Government Canyon State Natural Area\, a 12\,000+ acre nature preserve on the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone that protects the City of San Antonio’s water supply. \nThe day will start at 10AM with a tour of Government Canyon\, and followed by a presentation from the Edwards Aquifer Authority on the topic of drought and climate change. The afternoon will be focused on shared learnings and strategizing.
