Water restrictions could be headed our way very soon

As typical dry and hot weather continues to plague South Central Texas, our attention turns to the aquifer level. Right now, the 10 day average is sitting at 660.8 and Paul Bertetti, Director of Aquifer Science at the Edwards Aquifer Authority says we’re going to drop below 660 very soon.

“Looking at the current 10 day average, I would expect that by the end of the week or into the weekend, that the ten day average is probably going to dip below 660.”
