Join LBJ National Historic Park, the Cibolo Center for Conservation, and Teton Science Schools for a workshop focused on place-based education. This two-day workshop will provide teachers with the chance to: develop TEKS-aligned, place- based lessons they can use with their students; network with other teachers and support each other; and discuss the unique challenges and opportunities of place- and nature-based teaching in their communities.
Day one of this event will take place at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne. Day two of this event will spotlight LBJ National Historical Park – transportation between Boerne and Stonewall will be provided. Note: Registration is $25, which will be refunded to participants upon completing both workshop days. See flyer for more details.
