Nestled along the banks of Salado Creek, Victoria’s Black Swan Inn is one of San Antonio’s most storied and intriguing historic sites. Built in 1867 atop the grounds of the decisive Battle of Salado, the property has witnessed centuries of history — from Native American encampments to pivotal moments in Texas’ early days. Today, its elegant Greek Revival home overlooks the same flowing creek that has sustained life in this region for generations, creating a setting as meaningful as it is memorable. Steeped in folklore and touched by mystery, it provides the perfect backdrop for an evening celebrating history, culture, and the enduring importance of protecting our water.
