It is estimated that between 1.8 and 7.4 million people will travel to the path of totality for the October 14, 2023 annular solar eclipse, and South Texas is the only region in the United States that will experience the full annular eclipse.
Chapman Ranch offers unobstructed views of the solar eclipse. Our location will undergo nearly 5 full minutes of darkness, the longest available in North America! Attendees in our area will also experience the “ring of fire” that is characteristic for this kind of solar eclipse.
The camp sites are easily accessible by RVs and camper trailers from HWY 127, 8 miles southeast of Concan, TX.
Please note that due to local regulations, admission is limited to self-contained RV/camper trailers.
