Back by popular demand, Merlin Tuttle’s Bat Conservation (MTBC) and Bat Survey Solutions (BSS) are excited to present the second annual Join the Nightlife event in Central Texas! And this time, we’ve added an exclusive, 1-day acoustic training opportunity to manually identify bat recordings. There is something for everyone – bat enthusiasts, citizen scientists, biologists, consultants, organic gardeners/farmers, and students!

We’ll kick off the event with a captivating evening at Bracken, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. The following two days will be full of immersive learning experiences. Our focus will be bats and their contributions to our shared ecosystems, agriculture, and integrative pest management. Get ready to dive deep through a series of lectures, hands-on demonstrations, field trips, and the unique opportunity to participate in mist-netting. Witness bats up close and view live echolocation recordings!
