HCA’s Night Sky Preservation Fund Supports Dark Sky Projects | KXAN
Hill Country Alliance’s Night Sky Preservation Fund supports local efforts to reduce light pollution and protect the Hill Country’s starry skies. As highlighted by KXAN, the fund offers financial reimbursement assistance to grassroots organizations, institutions, and other eligible groups working to improve outdoor lighting and decrease light pollution. Supported projects may include lighting retrofits, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives that help more people understand the importance of dark sky conservation. HCA is grateful to KXAN for highlighting this funding opportunity and the collaborative work underway to preserve the region’s night skies.
