Everything You Want to Know About San Antonio’s Largest Natural Area
Join site interpreter John Koepke from 9am-10am at our brand new amphitheatre and learn about the history of San Antonio’s largest State Natural Area. Discover the origin of the name “Government Canyon,” why trails have the names that they do, the difference between a State Natural Area and a State Park, and much more! It’s everything you ever wanted to know about Government Canyon. Come prepared with lots of questions. Open to all ages, no reservations required, no pets please. Natural Area entrance fees apply. Program subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
