RESCHEDULED: Hillside Stewardship Landowner Workshop

Saturday, May 11, 2024 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Edwards Aquifer Authority Field Research Park | San Antonio, TX (Exact location and directions will be shared with registrants prior to the event)

This will be a fun, interactive, hands-on opportunity for Hill Country landowners. We’ll explore several structures (and build one or two) designed to mitigate erosion, enhance soil moisture and land productivity, as well as enable resilience to drought and flooding.

Registration is $15, which includes snacks, drinks, printed educational materials, and learning from one of the top experts on the topic. Dr. Mollie Walton, a restoration ecologist with deep ranching-roots in Hamilton County, has supported land stewards across the West for decades to restore productivity to their rangelands. In addition to learning from Walton, participating land stewards will also have the opportunity to share their own stewardship experiences and lessons learned with one another.

NOTE: This event was rescheduled from its original April date due to inclement weather.
