Fredericksburg – The Horned Lizard’s Homecoming – Reintroducing the Horned Lizard to the Texas Hill Country

A one-hour free program sponsored by the Friends of Fredericksburg Nature Center to educate the public on the plight of the Texas Horned Lizard and what efforts they can take to help reintroduce this beloved reptile back into the Texas Hill Country.  The program is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Gillespie County AgriLife Extension Office, 38 Business Court, Fredericksburg, Texas.  Guest Speaker is Texas Parks & Wildlife Department Diversity Wildlife Biologist Nathan Rains.
