Hondo – Conserving Water and Building Soil with Regenerative Agriculture

Are you interested in learning about regenerative practices for your land? Join SPI on June 22nd for an immersive on-farm field day at DWD Longhorn! From the basics of soil health to the restorative power of livestock grazing, you’ll see firsthand how healthy, resilient soils can bolster water infiltration and conservation, safeguarding your land from droughts!

This full day workshop and field day, includes:
• A morning farm tour and demonstration
• Soil health lecture and discussion
• Presentations on available Water Conservation Grants
• Lessons in regenerative land management strategies to improve water infiltration & conservation, including grazing practices for smaller acreages.

Fee: $15 | Lunch will be provided | Register by June 20th
