Comal Conservation invites you to an enlightening program that delves into the significant trends of land fragmentation over the past several decades. Our presentation will make critical connections between family land fragmentation and the pressing environmental issues impacting the Hill Country.

Presenter Dr. Andy Sansom is a former Executive Director of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Executive Director of the Texas Nature Conservancy.
His presentation entitled, “Home, Home on the Range,” will highlight land fragmentation trends over the last several decades and connect the dots between family land fragmentation and environmental issues facing the Hill Country. Andy will also highlight recent efforts to support Legacy Landowners and paint a picture of what is ahead for conservation efforts here in Comal County and across Texas.
