Defenders is excited to present our Black History Month webinar series. Join us for our final presentation, “Sending the Elevator Back Down When Shattering Green Ceilings” on Wednesday, February 22^nd at 3:00pm CT!

Join speakers Leandra Taylor, Outreach Coordinator for the Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards and Leader for Outdoor Afro, and Danae Jackson, Senior Zoologist at the Dallas Zoo as they have a panel discussion at the web series A Conversation on Diversity in Wildlife Conservation: Black History Month Edition. Leading the discussion will be the moderator, Wildlife Conservation Interpreter at the Dallas Zoo, and Herpetology enthusiast, David Smallwood. They will hold a conversation on the importance of building professional networks and sending the elevator back down when shattering green ceilings.
