Hill Country Night Sky Month 2021

Blanco

The Blanco County Commissioners Court, Night Sky Month Proclamation was signed (September 28, 2021)

Comal

With support from the Comal County Friends of the Night Sky, the Bulverde City Council, City of Bulverde Night Sky Month Proclamation was signed.  (September 14, 2021)

With support from the Comal County Friends of the Night Sky, the Comal County Commissioners Court recognizes October as Hill Country Night Sky Month. (September 30, 2021)

With support from the Comal County Friends of the Night Sky, the Mayor of Spring Branch, City of Spring Branch Night Sky Month Proclamation was signed. (September 14, 2021)

With support from the Comal County Friends of the Night Sky, the City Commission of Spring Branch, City of Spring Branch signed a resolution (September 14, 2021) declaring their intent to become a certified dark-sky community by the International Dark-Sky Association.

Hays

With support from the Hays County Friends of the Night Sky and the Hays County Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists, the City of Buda proclaimed October 2021 as Hill Country Night Sky Month. (October 12, 2021)

With support from the Hays County Friends of the Night Sky and the Wimberley Valley Dark Sky Committee, the Commissioners Court of Hays County proclaimed October 2021 as Hill Country Night Sky Month. (October 2021)

Kerr

With support from the Kerr County Friends of the Night Sky, UBarU Camp and Retreat Center Night Sky Month Proclamation was signed. (September 23, 2021)

With support from the Kerr County Friends of the Night Sky, The Kerr County Commissioners Court passed a proclamation proclaiming October 2021 as Hill Country Night Sky Month. (September 13, 2021)

Travis
